A Big Answer to Prayer

Remember that I said I had big news about my ears. Well mom just now received the photos so here it is.

At my 18 month check up with the pediatrician she looked in my ears and said they looked great! She did not see any fluid at all! Just think – six weeks ago I was scheduled to have surgery and have tubes put in my ears. Mom has been taking me to the Chiropractor instead of surgery and it worked!!! I also found out that I now weigh 22lb 2.5oz and I’m 31 ½ inches long. That means I am almost up to the 25% in height! Yeah – I am not below the 5% anymore. My weight is still between the 5-10%.

Here is a copy of the “testimony” that Mom wrote for the Chiropractor’s office.

My son was diagnosed as having middle ear effusion (fluid in the middle ear) when he was a year old. After seeing his regular doctor and the ear nose and throat specialist (ENT) and failing his tympani grams (a test to check the vibration of the eardrum) the ENT diagnosed him as having “glue ear.” This is when the fluid of the middle ear had been there so long that it thickens up – like glue. The ENT said the only way to fix this was to have surgery where he would make a hole in each eardrum, suck out the “glue” and put tubes in to help prevent reoccurrence. Six months after being diagnosed with the fluid he was scheduled for surgery. Four days prior to surgery I brought him in to Dr. Chandler for an adjustment to boost his immune system before undergoing the surgery. It was then that I learned that his neck was completely out of alignment and was told that it may be contributing to his chronic ear problems. My husband and I canceled the surgery and decided to try chiropractic first. After six weeks of once a week adjustments we saw the pediatrician again. His ears looked great. There was no visible fluid! Even better, he passed the tympani gram test! What a huge answer to prayer, not to need surgery. We are so thankful to God and to Dr. Chandler for his perfect ears.
